There are two reactions possible here (well, sure, more, but the most common we seem to see online…).
1. OMG, can't believe it, WTF, he was so young.
2. Damn, have so many great memories of his roles. Raising a glass to his oeuvre.
I'm in the #2 camp. I wish the media would remember him for Cutter's Way and other great roles, not silly ones like Home Alone. Though, he WAS great in BIG, playing an a-hole with some depth and empathy isn't easy. "I don't get it." "'Bugs.' Nobody just says 'bugs' in a meeting like that, oh he's vicious…"
