QMx has the new badges on display at SDCC and according to their facebook page will be released in the coming weeks.

It always amazes me how cheap they can sell things! I won't lie, I've bought a few things from them and I almost hate to say it but I've always been very pleased with the quality. Usually it's at prices up to 75 percent cheaper or more than the "real" items.

These as is won't be screen accurate though, if you've seen the costume at the Star Trek Discovery offsite. The new badges also has rank pips on them. the "half rank" pips like on a Lt Cmd is sunken whereas the full ones are raised.

An article that came out over the weekend confirmed that their current run would not include the screen-accurate pips on the badge.

Of course not. Screen accurate ones will be part of a special limited series run with perhaps some extra thingie bob added in as an additional inducement to "open a hailing frequency to their wallets."

I believe we've seen this with Battlestar Galactic dog tags and such.
