Spider-Man homecoming original suit

Hey guys I've got to somehow make the top of my black leather gloves red for my Spider-Man costume. I need to do this on as low budget as humanly possible. Thanks in advanced for all of your help.

Use acetone, then leather dye. You will need to scrub the acetone into the parts you want red with a toothbrush or hand scrubber, once you have done this 2-3 times the leather should be prepped enough for the red leather dye to take hold. You will need to add several coats to hide any of the black. I used this same method to make black boots white for my Stormtrooper.

I don't think it's necessarily a bad idea, maybe just not practical. Your hands would get really sweaty because of the leather

I bought new gloves that are actually red on top here they are I sharpied on the web pattern
