Rogue One Sandtrooper Jedha Patrol Backpack Build Thread

A couple of months ago, I decided to build the Rogue One Sandtrooper Jedha Patrol Pack. This Sandtrooper was recently approved by the 501st MEPD to be official and the CRL is currently being developed. Originally there were scences with this Sandtrooper, however, they were cut from the movie but the can be seen in the extended version scenes. Below are the reference photos and 3D rendering that we created:

3D printed many of the parts. Sanded and finished them. Performing some layout to see how it works. The tricky part of this build is going to be the way it is going to attach to the armor.

Might need magnets and screw posts to hold it.

More progress today on the pack. See pictures below. Getting closer to being complete.

I would recommend building a frame out of PVC and attach that to the armor via straps or something of a similar nature.

Made alot of progress since my last post. All I have left to do now is to add the shoulder straps.

Made the frame out of PVC and CPVC. Heated up pipe in order to bend to the desired angle.

I then painted and attached the pvc frame to the base components of the pack.

Once frame was secure to the base. I attached all of the pieces (minus a few small ones). I will add strapping tonight and put on my Stormtrooper Mannequin to see how it looks.
