I think of all the saucer designs in movies, this is the cleanest and sleekest there is. It is the quintessential saucer, imho. And your rendition is very sweet. Love it !
 
That looks great. Can you describe how you were able to keep the lower dome silver and still allow the rotating red engine effect to show through? Really inspirational.
