head harness for an oxygen mask?

Hi all
I'm making an original character costume which has a jet fighter oxygen mask but no helmet.

I need a way to fasten the mask to the face.

In a real world setup, the mask attaches to the jet helmet with clips. Are there any ready-made head harnesses I can use instead?

i would look a craft/building face mask, most of them have a harness that holds it to the head

what kind of mask are you using? If you are using an MBU12/P you could just remove the spoon and use the webbing to attach to some replacement respirator harness. Or you could remove the webbing from the service attachment and modify the harness to screw back into the mask.

If you dont have the oxygen mask yet, some WW2 oxygen masks had straps that went around their flight helmet

You can disassemble the harness from a respirator. I have made a costume where I made my own mask and needed a harness so I took apart one of these:
