Maz chest and BB8 repaint

So I made a chest a while back, and wasn't entirely happy with it. So I stripped it down, and redid the brackets, added some (fake) rivets and weathered it up. WAY better now! Also, found a JAKKS Pacific BB8 at Target for 75% off. He's actually pretty big, just comes with an awful paint job. Two cups of coffee later, and he is drastically improved. I'll add a before/after of BB8 for reference.

That looks great! What are the measurements of the box? I've been thinking about building one myself.

Thank you! The chest is = length: 20 inches, width: 8 inches and the height is 10 inches. Good luck!

What a great combo. Just got the JP BB-8 (no lights version) and looking at tips to weather.

Sorry I'm just seeing this now. I used acrylic black paint and went over it like a wash, using a little water. Then dry brush random shades of browns
