T600 - terminator salvation

This is already insane! Just found it. Wows.

thanks xyster101

waiting for earth magnets to help connect/disconnect the feed belt for the minigun and the hose from the grenade launcher then i will weather the 40mm ribbed hose and add material dressing to the ammo back pack

Managed to fix a pair of boots to go on my height extension boots, contact cemented the soles and used 4 inch wood screws to keep them in place

You should not be able to see the boots as i added 7 inches to the bottom of my trousers but just in case i weathered them

IMG_20171013_000251.jpg IMG_20171013_000302.jpg

There actually ok to walk in, i imagined i would have to walk like Frankenstein but the boots support my feet and ankle and i can walk semi normal

Finished dressing the ammo back pack with a scrim net that i weather with holes and acrylic paints, wanted to get a balance between trying to hide it and exposing it at the same time. just need to fix in the earth magnets on the feed hose then its all done.

Had a bit of a set back as the magnets didnt work :( well they did but when the hose moved they separated, a friend explained the force via distance thing ..............didnt help. So plan 2 i fixed the hose over a plastic pipe and fed it through and hot glued it ( ah hot glue for when s*** goes wrong) now the end of the hose that connects to the grenade launcher can be removed.
The ammo belt connects via 10mm nylon bolt at the back so its not visible at the end of the ammo belt are magnets that "should" keep it in the mingun........fingers crossed

Even though i extended the length of the trousers i didn't take into account extra width needed to cover my actual boots....:facepalm so i got some more material and made over boots, these will attach to the top of my boots and the trousers will cover them at the toe line.

Finished working on the jacket, the look was achieved by hiding fish in the pockets and teasing the local cats..........:p

1, Made a series of small tears to look like bullet holes an shrapnel damage

2, I ground in dirt and enhanced it with acrylic paints

3, Larger holes were made in order to shown parts of the endo-skeleton

The back of the jacket has light damage as most of the back will be covered by the backpack

The beginning of the minigun barrel holders

I take no credit for this my ex brother in law took my design and added weight saving holes and his CNC machine did the rest, the barrels are all cut and are being primed and the tin can end barrel is finished

The barrels have been primed taped of a 6mm section at each end to slot into the holders

IMG_20171113_190137.jpg

The barrel holders were primed with a flat black acrylic

Bearings were placed in the middle on both sides, a threaded rod will be placed along the rear section and connected to a motor in the main body.

I moved just before Christmas so had to spend my money on sensible things like curtains lampshades and paint...........:( and non of my cosplay tools were practical either, you cant put up shelves with a dremmel and hot glue (well you can they just don't stay up long)

Received my mask from pilcrow designs https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/PilcrowDesigns just after Christmas its awesome, I began to sketch out what areas I wanted to remove based on the T600 statue I like.

Then the scary part was cutting away sections, I did a couple of inches at a time then test fitted then cut some more using nail scissors. because its thick latex it kills your fingers after a while.

it looks a little strange at the moment but the cheek sections will be glued to the skull to give it more shape but before that I need to base coat it with a latex/acrylic paint mix then ill weather it.
