Black Panther Solo Movie Build

Ok so the teaser trailer has hit the internet and I've been looking over the costume. It seems like it's actually a lot simpler to get together compared to the Civil War suit. I think the helmet looks different too yes? The suit itself looks like it's just a plain black skinsuit with abdominal definitions. I've been previously interested in a Black Panther build and it seems I have found one a little more economical compared to the Civil War build. I also put some screencaps here as well.

Thoughts?

Edit:

Here is a comparison with the Civil War helmet, seems like a simpler build

I like the Civil Wars version better, but the new suit is not bad at all. I hate the Infinity Wars BP helmet... It looks really bad.

Hello ScorpionTR I am really intrigued by this Black Panther build and am intending on doing one myself, I already have 3D models for all the solid parts all modelled up in Fusion 360 ready for printing, some need reworking but they are all made using reference images were taken by a guy named masgund4m on imgur https://imgur.com/a/Z6TDh. These photos are of the official MARVEL made suit used on display at D23. Hopefully these will help you and any others with this build. If you are interested in the 3D models then please don’t hesitate to email me at damaskprops@gmail.comGoodluck.

Here are photos of my original model, it is currently being updated for better printing and accuracy. I'll send images of the newer one once completed.image.pngimage.pngimage.pngimage.png

Thanks for sharing! I hadn't checked Gun Head since the start of last year. I'm debating what kind of fabric to use.
I'm sure I'll be working on this suit eventually. I've got plans to do an update to my Civil war suit first.
Gun Head Design recently posted their pattern for the new suit: http://www.gunheaddesign.com/black-panther-2018-pattern.html
also, Do3D has a file for the helmet: http://do3d.com/product/3d-printabl...2018-movie-helmet-mask-print-file-format-stl/

Mind if I reach out for build advice?

I don't mind at all. I spent a lot of time looking for fabric and working on a build design.

anyone got an idea on how to make the helmet glow other then a clear cast resin and some lights? i was thinking of maybe glow power of something like that.

or NOT clear resin, but somewhat opaque, and add one led in the end of the part, it will diffuse the light and 'light up' the piece/part..

then maybe EL wires/sheets.... (although you need to tuck the inverter somewhere)..

or maybe 3D print it with a small 'channel' to have an small LED strip in there.. with an opaque/slight trans inlay as the cover.
