So, I had this toy gun laying around for probably a few years and finally decided to work on it. I'm pretty content with how it turned out, but I would really like to try this again.

I tried to fill that void left by the gold ammo barrel thingy

I did cut away the trigger and trimmed down the barrel to make it look a little closer to the real thing. The paint job turned out pretty decent, compared to other experiences I had with painting plastic lmao. I also had to replace the bottom of the grip, I just glued a piece of MDF to it.

I did a pretty heavy weathering to the best of my ability to distract from the wooden tumor on the side. I also threw together a little display.

I think I'll call it the Derp Runner!

Nice work on covering up the big gap that is in the gun after removing the bullets.

I like the paint job too. Good weathering.

I think it looks pretty good! Close cousin to a PKD but it certainly looks like it lives in the same universe.
Well done :thumbsup

I've had one of these for about 7 years and you've just inspired me to get off my bum and do something with it. Looks fantastic!!

Nice job you did there...I would've preferred if the grip had been painted entirely and not just the diamond part, but besides that...(my two cents;))

I like your solution for filling the cylinder, I ended up using a PVC pipe coupler (1.5" I believe) and if I remember correctly it's just press fit inside the gap left by removing the cylinder assembly.
