There was, a garage kit :p (Although a proper commercial 1/72 kit from Bandai would indeed be a grail kit for me)

Of course the 1/72 resin kit is out of production now, and had some accuracy issues, but it was decent for what it with a few tweaks




And here with the old MPC 1/100 ish B-Wing

Thanks for the impetus to get these plans out there... so regardless of the finish of my drawings, I'll get them smoothed up so I can post a PDF to the forum. I hope to have this done by the 11th.

Sooo... you should probably hurry up with this build.. the sooner you finish the sooner Murphy's law can kick in and make Bandai produce the 1/72 B-Wing :D

I've been saving copies of the stuff you posted as I am hoping to tackle scratch building a 1/72 version as well, or at the very least accurizing the second resin one that I have much more that the first one. I've just been stalling hoping Bandai will deliver :)
 
As usual, life has a way to get stop and slow down my obsession with all things Star Wars... But I will be working on this again very soon. I've always wanted to test my skills as a craftsman and build a model from scratch... So, even if Bandai releases one, I'll be putting all my modeling time into this beauty... At least until I get a hold of that Bandai 1/72 Falcon :).

Yeah, I think I've seen some floating around, but they are damn expensive... I'd rather use all the material I have and go to town on a fully scratch built one. Only time will tell how it works out...lol
