I am able to make the dome in resin but wondering if it’s worth it. Cos I would need to make the mold.
 
I cut mine out, and filed them all to be a uniform shape and size, and then 3d modeled a part to fill the hole, and I printed it in translucent red filament and put a red led behind it. The red filament does a good job of diffusing the light and the parts look good off when on display.
