I think the problem is that we currently have one grainy screen grab from the film which Buch found here on the right alongside the tin Kylash picked up:
Notice how the NEPTUN writing in the centre on Kylash’s is clear and the movie one is dark as eethan had also spotted.
Buch's here I think is slightly more accurate as he has the NEPTUN writing in blue:
Mine appears to be the same as Buch's with the blue background:
Only potential difference between mine and Buch's could be the background behind the portraits/busts on the left and right hand side; although that could be just a trick of the light when the photos were taken.

On closer inspection on Buch's original post, it seems I was incorrect and both his and mine are identical, however I'll have to wait until I receive it in the post to confirm. Should be end of the week for those of you interested.

Man, this is crazy... the one on ebay right now which has the wrong clear background on the NEPTUN is currently at 121€... it's just a tin box!

Just a small addendum:
IF memory serves, (and thats a big if in my case) i'm pretty sure the screen used interior lid has the following motif:
(this is of mine)
When I watched the film I missed the writing on the front but got a good look at the inside of the case where K pulls the baby sock out. I couldn't make out any writing but remember thinking that it looked discoloured as though the smoker had stubbed the cigarettes out on the inside of the lid. Fairly sure it was actually just this faded motif. Some of these tins do not have this motif inside and I am as yet unsure whether these are the earlier or later tins. I would assume later though given the more complex design.
I believe Buch's has the same interior lid as mine.
I'm almost certain the following interior lid is not SA:

I'll confirm tonight as i'm going to watch the film again.

I spent nearly an hour 'Auf Deutsch' trawling through ebay.de of cigarette cases before I found mine, some 900 listings. If it helps guys search for Zigarettendose or ZigarettenSchachtel which are both the German terms for a cigarette case. I went through all 900 yesterday though and only found the one I bought.

I was bidding on that one. Got outbid and decided to put a ridiculous max bid. Second later i got outbid with 121. Somebody wants this really bad. I'm out now.
It's definitely a frothy market for anything close to the original. Just picked this up for 20 euros instead. It's the only one I've seen over a lot of searching every European eBay site. Once prices retreat in six months it may be time to look again...

Also reminded of an old prank kids used to pull in the 40s and 50s. They'd ring up the local tobacco shop and ask if they carried Prince Albert brand cigars in a can. If the shop did, the kinds would say: "well then, let him out..." and then hang up.

Bash is correct. The lettering is blue at the bottom and also has the interior motif. I looked this over very closely after watching the movie a 3rd time... I also LOST the bid to Bash on german eBay! :eek I believe it was at 201 Euros? I should have gone higher but it was 3:30am where I live. I have 2 tins which I am waiting for and both say NEPTUNE with the E but the one Bash has is the type used in the movie. I am simply going to stick a label on mine which will be as accurate and have the internal motif still the same. I plan to sell the other once I receive it.
201.00 Euros = $237.03 US dollars. I guess some peoples idea of a steal are different. :lol
