Blade Runner 2049 props and replicas

Man, I really hate those helmet/hats the beat cops are wearing. I love the LAPD lighted vest I screencapped above, but the head gear pictured in the concept art would be a terrible design to collect water, or fog up. :p

I'll honestly probably watch the movie again tomorrow, so I'll try to screencap some more stuff.

Lovin all the new Patrolman stuff. Heres where I got to with my old version of the original before I moved it on for those who never saw it.

The brand is the early 20th century German company International Camera AG (ICA), which had the 5-pointed star logo.

The 9x12 plate holders were made for their Minimum-Palmos 9x12 model, which was produced between 1909 (initially by Zeiss Palmos-Jena, then from 1911 by ICA) and 1926 when Zeiss-Ikon was created from ICA and a number of other manufacturers. Zeiss-Ikon continued to produce the camera and it's plate holders for a short time after the takeover too. I would say they are not exactly plentiful or easy to find - another reason for the vintage camera community to hate prop collectors I think;)

Here is a page from an old ICA catalogue - the slide in double-plate holder (Holzdoppelkassetten Einschieben) is in the upper right.

Thankyou for this info! Even with it though, I still can't find any. 'Not exactly plentiful' is right :lol

Got my ITS Tallboy today! Great pouch, almost sad it will be a display piece and not used as intended, but having it in hand it lines up perfectly with my still shots of sappers bag! I removed the red tag on the handle, and replaced the zipper pulls with 40mm black split rings. I plan to get some black eyelets next week for it.

Here are both of the Boker model tactical pens that Nexus7 and I have been checking out, in grey and black, respectively. Compared to Nexus7's screen cap off Luv's set, I'm feeling reasonably confident with the I.D. on these items.

Hey! First, here is a pretty good screen grab from the film...

I think that the one on the right is more likely this one...

Böker Plus MPP Multi-Purpose pen (09BO092) in black. The only difference being the clip on the screen-used looks silver. I will say that your last one looks like the same pen. Maybe manufactured by the same company and just re-branded? Your second is also similar but the (non writing) point is sharper.

Here are some more screencaps I took, but this time from the special features. I'm a huge fan of the beat cop tactical vest, but I wish there was a bit more going on in the front. It would have been nice for an LAPD stencil and badge/info area. The holster seems a bit lonely!

I’ve been wondering this for awhile now, are the beat cops also using a K style blaster?

i mean, it does look like it

Sure does. And like the original movie, they have the stunt, rubber version. No detailing at all on the grips. I like the chest mounting as well.

Addition....There actually might be detailing on the grips...hard to tell from the pictures. Either way, its the same gun I think.

Yeah, I'm 100% sure from my screencaps above that they're just black versions of K's blaster without the carbon fiber grips.

I'm going to leave my solid resin blaster's grips black now (if it ever shows up), and then do a carbon fiber version down the road for K's.

Edit- I personally think it might be the graininess coming through. They looked very smooth when I watched the special features on the TV!

If you watch the BR2049 feature "Designing - The World of Blade Runner 2049" at the 13:34 mark I think we have the best view of the new police helmet. Looks like someone in the prop department is holding it. I don't know how to screen capture so best I could do was a photo from my phone. Sorry for the crappy quality.

I got lucky and managed to nab a good condition Pale Fire this week for crazy cheap (under $40). I also found some of the Bormioli glasses at my local liquor store. I'm not sure where this tiny collection stops (probably the Cibi or the K coat), but I'm satisfied for the moment.

Are the Bormioli glasses used in the K and Deckard scene, when they meet?
