Rey costume from The Last Jedi (possible spoilers)

One note is that I got a look at a reference shot of Rey's pants and the seam at the top of the knee goes all the way around, curving down the backside of the knee. I didn't see it in your sketches so I wanted to note it just in case. I've also made her cloak. It was fun and I'm so glad to have it. When the new trailer came out I went through some screenshots and noted that the cut of the cloak is square in the back and long in the sides, rather then taped. So basically it is just one big rectangle. I can dig up some pics of what I modified it to be. There are also no seams in the film used cloak. Oof. So I took 60' fabric and used that as width and the length is about 75 inches long (what wraps around me. It overlaps quite a bit in the front). This way there are no seams. I have my first cloak with seams and I love it and wear it on just any ole day, which is fun.

Aaahhhhahaha. I totally didn't see that until now. I love it.

While we're talking pants...I got this fabric that is really great and seems quite accurate. It's got some stretch and a canvas like feel but isn't canvas its baby piqued. Which I never knew is what this fabric is called! Anyway it's promising and inexpensive... relatively.

Its my understanding that it is wider...in total the belt is something like 3.5 inches. Kristen Jones makes these belts beautifully and can confirm. But at 3.5 inches that would be about a half inch wider than the Jakku belt.
