Tomenosuke resin Blade Runner Blaster

I found Marushin X Cartridge Police Revolver 3 Inch (Black / Heavy Weight) 6mm. Is this closer/work for my build?

My concern is in the pictures the barrel looks small or short. Will I need to do any modifications to the barrel for length or Will it be fine the way it is?

Also the gun I found is black. I know the original prop was steel color. But I'm not finding this gun in steel. Should I try to find silver or will black be okay?

dude, just stop already.

There are no airsoft guns out there commonly available which will serve as a suitable base for conversion into an M2019 blaster. Giants of prop building have tried and failed at this. Your best bet is a 3d printed kit and be done with it.

Nonsense, it may not be airsoft but most countries allow cap guns and you can buy a replica Charter Arms Bulldog .44 revolver (screen-accurate) and over-build it with Sidkit, greigsbeck, tomenosuke or offworld parts - like what I am...

I agree 100% with you, but the OP is dead set on using airsoft to do his build, which I am advising against.

HWS got away with it by using a S&W Chief's Special. Not 100% screen accurate but close enough since the Bulldog was trying to compete with it in the same market. From there you can use an M36/60 by Tanaka or Marushin or even the Marushin Nambu M60 "police revolver" being a close copy.

You will have to make the same modifications as with any live firing or airsoft blaster which is mainly changing to a 4.5"-5" barrel (airsoft guns also have an inner barrel which you don't necessarily have to extend), cutting off the ejector rod, cutting off the trigger guard. Silver or black is up to you but Marushins are vacuum aluminized so any modified parts will reveal black abs plastic underneath so better be sure and careful when you decide to modify anything.

For those of you still looking for one of these. I have one already, and I Iove it!

Isn't that the pro or 2049 kit Mark ? As in mostly metal ? I don't think the stunt kit will look quite the same. I'm sure it's still really nice . . .

Nope, this is the resin 2049 blaster that I received as a gift from Tomenosuke a month back and I finished it to look like the hero steel version. Ultimately, when we get decent pics of the finish of the hero in the new movie, I will finish it to look like that since I already have my Worldcon finished blaster.

Hope this shows how terrific the resin blaster can look.

All the best,
M

Tomenosuke are releasing another 50 of these Resin Blaster Kits from December 2017.

I don't know where to buy one or if they will be available outside of Japan.

The first lot that were released a few months ago (see above posts in this thread) sold out really fast.

I`d love to get the Tomenosuke Resin Bladerunner Blaster Kit. But seeing as how Canada is literally the azz end of the world, I doubt I could safely get 1 into Canada. ;(

I have no idea of gun laws in Canada. But then again neither did I regarding Danish gun laws, when I got my first Tomenosuke kit.
Therefore I called the police and asked. In my case it was really easy. But I suggest you reach out the relevant authorities, and ask them. :)
