Bandai Star Wars ship build marathon

So I picked up the Bandai Falcon a few weeks ago and had such a fun time building it that Immediately purchased two tie fighters, Vader's tie fighter, and the Y- Wing.
This weekend I went to SW celebration and went bananas and the Bluefin Bandai booth. I picked up an AT-AT, AT-ST, Snow Speeder, A-wing, and Poes X-wing (which will be converted into a McQuarrie X-Wing).

My plan is to do one build right after another (maybe a couple of days break in between) and post the images here.

The list So far-
Millennium Falcon- completed-

Well, not really a one day build. Just one right after another.

I dont think i could even do the masking in one day. Lol

Excellent job so far with the Falcon and the wings of the X-wing.

Looking forward to seeing the X-wing finished and the rest of the list

Thanks!
Decided to do the wings seperate so I could get into those hard-to-reach places.

Almost done with the X wing, then start on the TIE.

That's a fantastic x-wing!

My plan this summer is to do a bunch of them all at the same time.

A-wing
Snowspeeder
slave one
fine molds slave one
y-wing
tie fighter

I'm doing all the sprue cutting/ sanding at once.

Then sub-assembly

then prime all at once,

then taping

and so on...

Be careful when removing the parts from the spruce tree.
Im always afraid Ill get them mixed up or wont know the number.

I have everything packed up in hardware cases. And I always work on a clear "tray" that I made so I never get anything mixed up. Everything always goes back into the storage container.

This is also why it takes me forever to do anything...

Well, youre already more prepared than me. I would have lost track of numbers and ended up with a Millennium Tie X wing.

I also realized that I like seeing it as a puzzle. So spreading parts and finding the right one is fun.

I HATE sprue cutting. Which is why I like to get it over with.

Then the fun begins

Great job. I really like your photo setup as well. I have Vader's tie and Slave One in my lineup as well.

Can't wait to see more.

Slave One is gonna be a task with that paintjob.

Be sure to post them up when youre done.

In the meantime heres Little Vader-
Since its ANH i have him the red lenses...and for the hell of it also gave him the grey silver highlights on the facemask.

I like the greyer look of the Ties. I know many studio modelers swear by TS-32 for getting close to the studio colors, but I kind of prefer the on screen grey look of New Hope

What color did you use?

Grey Pale blue
A couple of drops of white and one drops of sky blue.

Y Wing was going to be next but I got a 006 Falcon in the mail.
Gonna give that one a go.
