Official V3 Nike MAG Replica Thread - V3 Discussion Thread

There's an on foot video above that I posted

I meant done the same way NIKE promoted their shoes. Showing the wearer actually slip them on and apply pressure to the heel. The whole "shoe comes alive" was their WOW moment. This is still impressive, but for the answers to everyone's questions, the sellers need to show the shoe off the foot, then on, then demonstrate lights etc after the laces have clamped down.

Actually, maybe these do have the sensor. Take note of the amount the laces are tightened. Both shoes are tightened the same amount, but not as tight as they go when she manually adjusts the laces. And because she undoes the laces before tightening them, this then raises the question brought up earlier about if the two buttons are real or just for show?

I've asked one of David's team members on Instagram about the sensor

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AcADykKtqtQ I paid very close attention and noticed 2 things. 1: She is definitely only pressing the red button to tighten and loosen. 2: If you look VERY carefully, the lights (Both EL and LED) get dimmer and dimmer the tighter the laces go. Once she lets go of the red button, the lights go back to full brightness

Update: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CkB01ktYkk In this one, she presses the red button on the right shoe, and the green button on the left shoe

Whilst we seem to focus on the points they didn't get right, at least these shoes have slimmed toes and not the boot toe of the 2016 Nike product.

umm
one button is for tighten
and one button is to loosen
the video clearly shows when they jump the thumb
at the end they go to the right to the last button, the red one, to loosen the laces

i do wanna see the shoes charging and leds changing colors

In all the other videos we've posted, they only press one button. When they press it once, they tighten, and when you press it again, they loosen. Just like the first rendition of the v4's

Video for reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CkB01ktYkk

Update: Also, they press the buttons in the wrong order

The green is pressed to loosen, and red is pressed to tighten

nice, what was on it?

"Marty's Locker"
The YouTube/TV add for the 2011 auction and how they made that.
Quick interviews with MJF, TH and a few people from NIKE.

Apart from the Marty's Locker, I had not seen most of the stuff. I'll probably never watch it again and just stick the disc in place on the poster.

Honestly, this video makes me think the power laces are more durable than we think. She holds the button until we can hear them straining, and they still function normally after that

And in this video, it seems the buttons actually work as intended. If one push was either open or close, you would see the laces open more than they do. It is almost like she fumbles with which button closes and opens.
