    How will you do the rubber tread? rest is looking good though. I imagine you have a lot of drilling ahead of you to lighten the sprockets...

    Rubber tread will be attached to the steel trad plate using 2 screws from the back. Yeah lots of drilling, Total of 8 sprockets and a total of 88 holes.

    This is how Mike Senna mounted the rubber treads. 2 screws one on each side.

    No idea sorry. I just email company's to find the steel I need if I cannot get it from local shop. Maybe Easy steel?


    Working on getting the photos back up at the moment.

    Maybe. I just adding them to this site as images. Working ok so far.

    Its heavy as a monster truck

    Just a small update:
    I ordered a new drill press and drill bits and some hole saws. When I get that up and running I will spend a weekend lightening the sprockets.
