    Sanded all the edges smooth on the steel plates today and got both tracks bolted together.
    Just waiting on my connecting links that should be here Monday. Also got my #35 sprockets and roller chain yesterday.

    Ready to bolt together.

    While I appreciate the effort you've put into making those tracks, my concern is that those bolts are protruding from the bottom of the tracks. Any plan to make them flush?
    Beside that, it's looking good!

    The attachment chain will be welded to the steel plates on the edge of the attachment link then all the bolts will be removed and then the holes will be used to screw the rubber treads on. Bolts are just to keep everything inline and to make it easy to weld.

    Keyed shaft will be here in a week. Looking into bearings and steel next. Need 12 bearings 1/2" ID and 4 bearings 5/8" ID.

    Drawing the lower part of the track drive up. Still need to draw shaft collars and then I will be dong the upper idle wheels later on then move onto the steel motor mount.

    Today and the last 3 nights after work I have been building a work bench for in the shed. Will post photos of it when done. Will be used to store tools and bits in and have my new machine on the top. Going to be very handy for the Wall-E build.

    Got 2 of the 4 axles made for 1 track system. Collars fit. Building a prototype version of the motor mount and bearing holder first so I can make sure all my measurements are right and everything fits. Start cutting up some steel on weekend.
