Hulu & Bad Robot's Castle Rock (tv series)

Which conveniently tells you absolutely nothing about it, when it starts, or anything else. I hate trailers like that.

Yes!!! I live in Castle Rock--it's full of mystery, suspense, adventure; stories to stop your beating heart!! Get ready for a TV series so bold it will shatter your expectations of how TV programs may change your life and bring upon you a new level of understanding! There will be a profound difference between your life before seeing "Castle Rock" and after seeing "Castle Rock"!

I'm pumped!!

Oh...
yeah...
Wait a minute...

I live in Castle Rock, Colorado--not Castle Rock, Maine. Yeah, it's dull and nothing happens here.

Never mind.

Until there is a real trailer telling me otherwise I will assume this is a mashup of The Man in the High Castle and Fraggle Rock.

Yeah, definitely a mashup of The Man in the High Castle and Fraggle Rock.

JJ Abrams is attached to it, even just by Bad Robot, it's probably going to have lens flare and no story line.

I feel like this would be an awesome opportunity to connect the Stephen King universe. There has always been some sort of connection with a lot of his books but has he ever actually made any direct cross-overs?

The character of Randall Flagg exists in multiple novels. Also, in the Dark Tower series many characters from other books and stories show up in Roland's world. Father Callahan from Salem's Lot, Ted Brautigan from Hearts in Atlantis, and even IT.

Had to go all the way back to november to find the thread for this series! I went and watched all three episodes currently available, and wow I really do feel it has captured the tone of the town Stephen King constructed in his novels. Cant wait to see the rest.
