Hasbro Marvel Legends Star-Lord Mask and Mjolnir

Wow that's so cool! I'm getting one made from the project runs here, but will probably use this one for going out on Halloween. That's gonna be a lot of fun :)

Yeah, I think I'll pass on this unfortunately. I just can't stomach how big it looks on a head. I get that it's a mass produced mask to fit most head sizes, but I fear they've just made it far too big.

I'm bummed, because I was really excited about this when they announced it :unsure

Amazon advertisement pictures show grid lenses and no seam gap. What gives?

EDIT
The more I look at it, the more I'm convinced that gap is a defect or something.

I think your hinge was installed crooked. If it were flush instead of canted, the back piece would fit with no gap.

I agree. the images on Amazon to include the actual product boxing does not show that gap.
Ein should also contact the company and see if that is intentional or not.

the other option is we will just need to wait until others get theirs to see if this is so.

So, interestingly, you guys are totally right. I assumed the hinge was fixed in position. Turns out I was suffering from a bit of user error there - the hinge can retract into the front of the helmet to flush the seam up. My helmet isn't defective, I'm just an idiot who didn't think to push too hard on it for fear of breaking something. :D

In my defense, the instruction booklet that comes with the helmet in no way makes this clear.

The grid pictured on Amazon in the eye lenses almost certainly just a prototype picture from a few months ago, pre-release. There are some minor variations between those photos and the paint job I have on mine, too.

Oh, good. Because that gap probably would have been a complete deal breaker for me.

I am still slightly disappointed that the lenses are not quite right. But they can likely be changed one way or another.

Not sure of the confirmed release date over here in the UK. Amazon seems to say 1st September while Forbidden Planet says the 20th. I've got mine preordered either way though.

So I've now received two. One from Amazon and one from EE. Both have cloudy lenses. What gives?!

About the cloudy lenses: mine has the same issue (from EE). But I expect there will be a run of replacement eye kits by someone here soon. So I'm not bothered.

Any idea the size of head this will fit? I've got a larger dome around 23-24"

Just got the star lord helmet
For the price, build and paint quality is just ok, but add the leds and bluetooth speakers makes this helmet worth it

Anyone else having problems with the helmet popping open on one side, behind the "ear", when being worn when you move your head around?

And especially, anyone with long hair/ponytail?
