Beautiful ship but why go through all of that trouble and not have the proper engine nacelle effect; I don't get it.

Hey feek61

Oh, nacelles were right (used the TENA control system from Ralph) but my $39 camera set up did not show them off. Hell, I'm lucky the camera showed the laser effects without blowing up. Since then, I've invested a few G's in pro grade equipment so I can get great images. I've also invested much time and energy in re-learning how-to properly photograph and, make video's, of miniatures.

Check-out the D7 in the junkyard, that was the first time I powered-up the new camera. Now I am disappointed in that video too, but try try again I shall. And I will keep taking classes and shooting more footage till I get it right.

So long as I get BEST OF SHOW I'm not going to worry too much about the old video's. Besides, every star-ship I have build has sold fast and for a very good price. If anything I'm grateful for such a cool retirement hobby and my wife is grateful that the models are only around the house for a few weeks....LOL

I retired here in the sunshine state when for my 44th birthday in 2009, looks like you did too.....see you out and about feek61...

Got it, I thought it was strange that you did the amazing work without doing the nacelles; thank you for clarifying

Looks nice. I think the issue some might have with the nacelles is they appear not to have the motorized fan blades, rather a simulation of that mechanical effect carried off via flashing / "rotating" lights. I've seen it done both ways, tend to prefer the former as a matter of accuracy, but understand that others have different opinions or prefer the silence of the motor-less effect or a perceived improvement in reliability.
