show your Doctor Who Costumes

I'm after a frilly Pertwee style frilly shirt. Not just any frilly shirt mind, I want one that he wore in DOTD, I believe. It doesn't have buttons. It has a zip. Anyone seen one at all?

This one?

No, This one...

It's from Terror Of The Autons. One of the Doctor Who Cosplay forums did a run of these years ago. It was run by Manofsteel25 (that's his name on this board). You might contact him...

KRR21, considering how much they charge for those photos these days that is a lot of money there but I have to say it is money VERY well spent. You guys look beyond happy. :)

Here is my 9th Doctor with an authentic World War II Kriegsmarine jacket along side the 10th doctor and tardis at a nearby comicon recently. Followed by my authentic World War II RAF Officer great coat which had just been tailored to fit for my Captain Jack.

My take on 12 for Halloween this year. The slacks are the correct grey (or is it gray) but I'm saturated by a lot of sunlight reflecting yellow off the surroundings. I also printed up a load of things for the psychic paper to "say" and would switch them out when no one was looking.

I've been dressing as the 8th Doctor for probably over 15 years now. I finally met Paul McGann himself this weekend. The first thing he said to me was "It's like looking in a mirror!" I thought he was just being nice but several people confirmed later that he was being honest and was very impressed. I even made the news: I made the cover of a news article it would seem: R2-D2, Xena, Cybermen and more at LI convention

I'm looking for material to make a 4th DR. Waistcoat a seen in Talons. Has anyone ever come across the fabric at all. I seem to recall reading it was curtain material.

Found a decent 2nd Doctor silk handkerchief that I'm dead pleased with. Not SA I'm sure, but then I know neither is my 2nd Doc costume, but it will do for me.

I'm after another 9th Dr leather Jacket as the one I bought from eBay sometime back is sadly falling apart. So my question is, what are the Wested ones like? Anyone have one?? Thanks!

My 9th is from Film Jackets (aka fjackets) and it's survived all the use I've put it through. It is my regular wear coat in cold and wintery weather.

Thank you for the reply. Have you any photos? My old one was really heavy & thick (which I like) is yours. I've had to send one back from Amazon that really was thin leather.

Here you go. This is what it looks like after 2-3 winters of constant wear. It's held up very well. I had to roll the sleeves back two inches to accommodate my arm length but it's fine otherwise. I also just bought their TFA Han Solo leather jacket and love it.

As this thread asks to show off your Doctor Who Costumes, I thought I'd share with you my Strax Costume I made myself a couple of years ago..... The weapon is based on the Sontaran Blaster seen in Sarah-Jane Adventures and is made out of foam so it's EVENT FRIENDLY....

I'm also working on the Sontaran Warrior version of the costume too... Here's a resent image of my current progress.....

Wow! Thanks for that Wazoo, it still looks quite new. I see the leather is quite thick too :). That has given me food for thought. How heavy is it & did you buy a size up? I'm 40in chest.

Sorry for all the questions!
