Hi I am assembling my Klyo Ren costume and would like to know what neodymium magnets to get for the inside of the helmet and hood. So the hood will stay put on the helmet but still have movement. I found where to buy the magnets ,but am unsure as to what strength magnets & size to get. If anyone has suggestion as to how to mount them and where to mount them I would really appreciate the help. Thanks

I thought a lot of people used magnets instead of Velcro. I just don't know what strength to get and where to place them inside the helmet or on the hood.

hey buddy, you may want to ask this question here. this is a great thread of how to mod the helmet. though i dont recall him using magnets it sure wouldn't hurt to ask

as for magnets, I'm not a professional but used promag magnets that i bought from micheals crafts. i have bought all different sizes. when they snap together they hold real strong

i have heard many of my friends talking about "rare earth magnets" and i plan on using those on my r2d2 build. but can't find them anywhere but online

The rare earth magnets are called neodymium magnets. You can find one about 2 in. in length in a hard drive.
