ok so now I'm happy with it
Did some weathering and added details like real screws etc.

Hi Grant

I have one with many of the features you mention above - pump action grenade launcher, extendable rifle stock, functioning recoil lever, trigger works...not working ammo counter though. It does have removable magazine.

Secondly - my company is looking into mass producing a full-assembled pulse rifle. If successful enough we'll also do a smart gun. Will come down to demand, unit sales, shipping and logistics etc. But we're putting things into play right now.

I'm based in Melbourne.

There's a couple of good M41A's on thingiverse. And I'm not knocking this one. But couple things to keep in mind. Unlike MyMiniFactory, some of the uploads have *never* been printed, and despite looking great in the rendering imager that thingiverse provides, until the "filament hits the printer bed" you won't know for sure. I was in the middle of printing a phaser rifle when I discovered some of the parts were so big they were unprintable on any home machine. For any full size project, definitely stay away from anything that is just one part, that is definitely some 3DWarehouse (or similar website) mesh that's just been imported into a CAD program and exported as STL. Not even sure what is achieved by doing that on thingiverse. Obviously any "thing" that has 'makes,' especially with pictures, indicates its printable, but even then, I ran into some parts that required some subtle changes on my part to get successfully printed on my machine.

I'm working on something similar. I have many parts to scale but I'm stuck on the spas bit and the shrouds.

Where were you able to get prop size measurements?
