Outer coat - A good start pattern for 501st approval??

I know the cheap McCalls kylo pattern as a whole is wrong, but for the outer robe only is it worth getting and then just modding where the seams are? It appears it might be a good pattern for that one piece?

Thoughts on this or pointers to a better start pattern would be very much appreciated!
