Battle starship

Looks like good progress from here! I love the piping. Is that more aluminum or is it silver solder or something softer like that?

Thaks, Alex-san,

I used aluminum wire for this piping. I stretched it straight and bent with my finger.
I wanted to do this with some more thicker or thinner wires. Maybe later I add them.

Hi<
Thanks for introducing the interesting site.
And I have happened to do that kind of thing yesterday.

Oh, I got an accident yesterday.
I was trying to drill a rather large hole in a middle of the structure plate.
Suddenly the dremel jumped and damaged the hull badly.
That was where the piping place I built recentry.
I have to redo there and some lighting wiring as well.
It's going to be just an one day work but depressing anyway.:facepalm

OK here are some pics of the latest work.

That work needed a little tip but not that difficult.

The upper wall with piping above the small bay has been gone....

I said to myself with a deep breath, 'Next work will be better than this'.

Thanks for looking.

I just love the detail and geometry you keep adding. Looking very cool. :cool

Tip: Windex takes off fingerprints very nicely if you do happen to lay down a few.

Thanks for the useful info, Hagoth-san. It looks good. I found it on Amazon now.
I don't know if my fingerprints may effect the finish of paint job but I may have to wash or wipe them away before I do.

Oh, also, when I sand the surface of the aluminum sheet, my fingers are coverd with the black aluminum dust.
I didn't know but it seems I often touch around my mouth with the fingers.
I don't want my wife and daughter laugh at it anymore.

Hello yuumi-san ( Katsu ) ? ,
Hoping you and yours are well . Just wondering how your excellent ' metal ' ship is going ? .

Cheers Ged :)

Hi, Ged-san,
Thanks for asking.

As I said last time, Dremel bounced, rolled in and pulled away the LEDs wire and blowing off the bulkhead plate.
It took time to restore than I thought. I had to disintegrate the most of the hull part and re-wiring and reassemble.

This is the pics of damaged part. The bulkhead wall was completely gone.

Restored part.

I added the upper hanger deck and the landing pad in front of it.

Close up of the upper hanger deck.

Added a few more pipe lines.

I hope you'll think it's better than before at least.:(

Oh,

On March 13, I was retired.

Here's a pic of me and the president on the last day.
She is an outstanding person and my best friend.

And my fellow workers.

Thanks for looking.

All the best for your retirement! More time for passion projects, I guess. The ship looks better and better, and seeing an all metal project is really awe inspiring.
