they are black denim with white stitching that I waxed previously, I might throw them through the wash to remove the wax, the put me back 190.00 when I bought them around 3 years ago lol but I have since not really enjoyed rocking these jeans. I think thats why colors in the show might look differently, no two colors of black are the same unless you buy a suit set complete. just finished up the belt now, distress it abit and also finished up wearing down the boots abit

My belt came. The buckle isn't as thick as I was expecting, but good enough. May cut the belt loop off since it's a bit close to the buckle. Where did you get your buckle from?

My buckle is called a chipped edge square buckle, I got it from springfield armory its a 2 inch center buckle but realistically it would be better to shave a cm off each side for an easier slot with the leather.

whelp finished the belt, sealed it then let it cure. I then stripped the finish using isopropyl alcohol and then started manipulating the leather back and forth to create some minor waves. I used some mink oil after to re hydrate and finish the belt. Boots I stripped the top coat, then took a shower with the boots making sure to do alot of movement in order to break in areas that would show wear over time. After the boots dried out in the sun I then re hydrated them as-well with some mink oil suffice it to say way way less stiff and now super soft and supple

Ive blown about $500.00 into this project so far, you could technically skimp on a bunch of the steps I took but the devil is in the details and since his outfit has alot of off the rack items I wanted to make it look as close to the show as possible

My boots arrived. They're my new favourite thing.

I don't really want to break them in harshly since I want to add them to my wardrobe, but I needed to steam them over the kettle to fit them on; they're a bit slim. They take all the power just to pull them on but once they're on, they're snug without being constrictive. Wore them on a night out and no blisters whatsoever which is a first for me and new leather boots. The upper leather is a lot softer than I was expecting.

Also replaced the buckle on the belt with a thicker squared one. It has rounded edges rather than clipped edges, but I've never gotten a good image of the belt close up.

Damn that's a nice looking build! I wanted the boots but they're a little out of my price range, maybe AMC will market replica collar tips if the show does well. The tips are the main part that I'm looking for.

so new information on this build found out that the actor wears a collar extender, which explains the distance of the exposed preacher band being so prominent versus my shirt. so i think my shirt is an exact match but I need to get a collar extender to give it the right amount of open space. pic uploaded for what it looks like

I'm also trying to make a Preacher build and this thread has a lot of good, detailed information on his outfit. But I'm wondering if anyone knows what ring and watch he's wearing or where I can find them? To me, these two pieces are essential.

I just finished my Preacher build (with the exception of the ring). I found a Casio watch that was a good "close-enough" fit.
