The new Chronicles book is awesome! It has the underside mapped out nicely. highly recommend

I find it kind of funny that, thanks to this Japanese-only book, we now have access to these awesome photos of the ANH era underside of the model. But there are still no decent straight-on shots of the ESB and later underside maintenance pits. :) ie: photos of the model as it exists today!

There was a link I found in the WWW couple of months ago showing those black and White photographs from ILM in High Resolution.
Mysteriously I can not find those site anymore. Is somebody out there who is able to give a help?

It's titled ESB Falcon but it has the ILM ANH photos, scroll down about 2/3rds and your'll find them.
There's about 34 all up, sizes around 5600x3700.

Well, thanks to Darth Saber, it looks like I'll be masking the tiny squares/rectangles on mine too when I get to it. That looks too damn good not to do it.

looks like roughly 162 bucks, still spendy but heck, I just refied my house...I think I can pony up the funds! looks like a MUST have resource for guys like us :thumbsup
