Bandai 1/72 PG Millennium Falcon (also the Revell Germany rebox)

Re: Bandai 1/72 Millennium Falcon

If this isn't a kit Bandai is certainly marketing it like one. (-:

Very excited about this. I'd held off on investing time and resources in a serious MF build in the hopes that Bandai would eventually release just such a kit. Based on the pix they appear to have done the old girl justice. Fingers crossed.

Re: Bandai 1/72 Millennium Falcon

Wow!!! That's the coolest news yet! It's good that it's Bandai who's undertaking this. I can imagine the Bandai engineers examining the kitbashed Bandai parts on the 5-footer : )

Re: Bandai 1/72 Millennium Falcon

I want to know how much it is and when it's going to come out so I know how many babies to make and sell, cuz I'm betting it's gonna be expensive.

Re: Bandai 1/72 Millennium Falcon

For anyone worried about getting it in the US due to the exclusivity, you can pre-order it on USA gundam store. I've ordered from there before and they are really good. Have it up for $380

Re: Bandai 1/72 Millennium Falcon

Its incorrect. Its not yet available in Ebay. Just did a search.
I couldn't find it either. I'm not sure if I would trust ordering it as a preorder on eBay since it doesn't appear to be known if these will be available except from Bandai.

Re: Bandai 1/72 Millennium Falcon

Man, I am really conflicted about this news! I have the awesome DeAgostini falcon and am loving adding 5 footer like details to her as I have found several scaled down kits used on the 5 footer that work on the DeAgo. To me the DeAgo is the ultimate falcon and I've only got 2 more monthly shipments and and I will have it all! But this Bandai falcon looks awesome and as many have stated much easier to display and a near perfect 1/72 replica of the blessed 5 footer.

I'm sure I will pick one up eventually to just represent ANH falcon, but I want to wait until folks who have purchased and received the kits start posting pics.

Would hate to derail this thread with too much DeAgo talk honestly. Here's the link to my posting in the Commercial Builds thread. I have progressed a lot since those pics, but decided to wait until I have all the monthly shipments, thus all the parts, until I continue the project.
