Custom Decal printers?

I need to get a sheet of custom decals printed, color images with white opaque backgrounds. Anybody know or have a printer who could turn around and ship a single sheet in a couple days or less? Art would be .ai files or raster generated from it as required.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Do a search on the Internet for Custom ALPS Printing (or decals).
Here is a site that does it. Expensive. The pricing schedule looks very confusing though. http://www.kadee.com/htmbord/alpscustom.htm
Here is a list of other companies https://robdebie.home.xs4all.nl/models/decals.htm#custom

I don't know why no one produces white color toner for laser printers. Not even a 3rd party or anyone. Just imagine a 3rd party company selling white toner. You wash out a black cartridge and fill it up. Now you can insert the white cartridge whenever you need pure white instead of black. Switch it back to black and print over the same sheet if you need a shade of grey. There's the business proposition. Now, someone go and make it happen!
The idea probably wouldn't work because it would need the user to have a lot of graphics skills, planning and procedures to follow. Regardless, it would be nice to have white toner available.

I know Oki has a laser printer that offers white, but I don't think everyone can afford a few thousand dollars.

Anyways, that's my suggestions, gripes, and dreams.

It's not perfect, but as a much cheaper back-up you can get white inkjet or laser decal paper and cut them out carefully (remembering to clear coat inkjet ones before you put them in water). I used that technique for the custom decals I did for my Ecto-1. The kit came with nothing for the roof rack.

I've done some white designs by producing an outline mask in a color that matches (or nearly) the intended placement location and cutting the printed design out as closely as possible. Best thing to be done on the cheap...

Go to a local sign shop - digital print shop. No commercial shop likes very small runs, single decals, but you might find one. Some shops specialise in motorbike graphics which are always short run/one off's, source them first .

If you can't find something suitable, let me know, I could print it at work, but I'm in Oz, so the delivery would be a week at least....;)
