Does anyone have a copy of this book?

I'm trying to get a better image of this lightsaber prop from ESB

Oh that's the one with the thick black band at the top of the grips. Only a poor image existed until now. No clamp ( @Marv; was right). Fake control box.

Now I can finish my replica properly.

What´s holding the Graflex top and bottom tube together? Can´t make out much detail from these two pictures.

Looking at that pic I'd say that's a plastic or even rubber casting not a real graflex?

I'm thinking Kobold with Graflex upper. Looks like there is a hole on the bottom and if I'm not mistaken above the band I'd say its thicker, and lets face it they have done this before

... Might even be the same one as the Vader, guess it would explain the finish on the top where paint could have been removed?
It looks like more parts from a Michel Transcriptor plugging the holes too.

So similar to the second from top, huh ? Sounds plausible...AND I see the two domed knurled transcriptor knobs in the ports of the graflex as well

Guessing they stripped the kobold down too for the track to fit - perhaps that's where the other ESB saber donor part came from?

I can't see the first image, presumably of the book's cover. What book is this?

Considering we're on the subject, how many different ESB Luke sabers are there?

ive seen some with the beer tab removed, with it intact. Some with the thin strip of aluminum(mylar tape?) to cover the Graflex label and others with the textured wide strip. And now I'm seeing this one as well.

clearly new to the lightsaber realm, just curious.

Funny it has the Luke ROTJ V2 cone knobs in the Graflex sync port holes.

Don't think it's a Kobold. the base knurl is too thick. More like that on the bottom of a Strobonar 64b. The red button is also not a graflex part. And yes, it looks like it has transcriptor knobs in the sockets, but with a bit of a shallower slope.

This is pretty sick, we've always used that "empty graflex" in discussions and it's wonderful to see the prop out of that image! Can't wait for more info.

And thats a pretty clever "severed hand" bit there too

It's really crazy to see that it's not empty at all. I would never have guessed that what looked empty in the small cap was the light reflected off the knurled knobs.

I see silver paint up top that's been rubbed off near the bulb socket. the rest of the saber top half looks like the original Graflex finish. Remember that bladed stunt sold at auction? That was painted silver too, to keep light from reflecting so much.

So does this mean that the other severed hand being touted as original is fake?
