RIP: Harper Lee, To Kill A Mockingbird Author Dead at 89.

Apparently, she died this morning. I assume just about everyone's read TKAM. I haven't attempted the prequel book, half because I suspect someone else wrote it.

You don't even want to think about how much moolah she made of that one book.

TKAM is my favorite book and in fact my Goldendoodle is named Scout after the character. I stayed away from Go Set a Watchman because it would change how I felt about the original. I read an brief chapter and Atticus gave the vibe that he is now racist, wth? I believe the Go Set a Watchman was written first which is interesting. Any way this is sad news indeed...

Very important novel. RIP.
