I wanted to share with you all my Killer Croc costume I finished last week.

The Mask - it is a latex mask made by Malmey Studios. It doesn't articulate but it does have an awesome, wicked grin

The contacts - they are prescription sclera lenses from Samhain Contacts

The suit - it is a white morphsuit which was airbrushed by the super talented Rudy at RCC Creations

The claws - are from Dental Distortions and were simply hotglued to the finger tips of the morphsuit.

Muscle suit is the Super torso suit from Flex Design Costumes.

Everything else was made by me out of foam that was coated with PlastiDip then airbrushed and painted with silver leaf, then aged/weathered. Chains are plastic chains that have been silver leafed as well (for light weight compared to steel chains)

I've looked at this build several times and I just haven't found the right words to tell you just how freaking cool this is. Thanks for sharing something besides Batman or Superman here in the DC thread. NOT SAYING THOSE ARE BAD THINGS, I just like seeing off the norm cosplay builds. JUST Simply AMAZING....

And here are some photos of my Killer Croc from various photographers and from Wizard World New Orleans (where I debuted the costume). And the last picture is a rock prop that I made from layers of EVA foam that I Barge glued together, then carved out the shape using an electric knife. I spackled the sides to give a smoother edge, then Plastidipped to seal and stone surface spray paint and satin nickel on top of that. Then some airbrushing for weathering.

Trust me I know how you feel! Don't get me wrong I am a HUGE fan of Batman and Superman and eagerly awaiting the BvS movie, but there are just so many awesome DC characters and villains out there that need to be represented!

This looks FANTASTIC! I love, especially the rubble prop. Those kinds of clever things always send a costume over the edge for me. Nice work, Jason.

Thank you, sir! I love going to cons with props. Just makes it more fun at cons especially since there's really only so much you can do with just your hands. I was wrapping people's necks with the plastic chains of the rock prop and picking it up and swinging it at the Batman cosplayers. And I literally dragged it behind me for 7 hours at Wizard World New Orleans. People loved it!
