yes, that's a lighter colour than the flat sided HCs I've got. I think the original (ribbed) ones were lighter

Compared to the movie shoes, I think this fabric color is close. But the mesh is too large and thick...
I have to say that I'm pretty proud of the look of this one.
Anyway this was just a test to see what this would look like. I'll make this one later next year after the black one.

my HCs with the ribs are darker than my V2s if that helps

Shooooot ! I've got my sacrificial soles from GogoYeezy (finally) but something is wrong with the shoe I've choose...
It is strongly attached to the fabric with something unidentified. It's not a simple sole removal as I thought it would be.
Someone have ever remove the sole of a Kobe Shoe here ? (I don't think I'm gonna wear thoses if it is impossible to detache it :/ )

You could just use the soles and heel cups from the HC MAGs. They're the same as the V2s and much cheaper.Ok, I probably won't get the V1 I wanted, so I won't have a "mag sole" on this project
So, I'm looking forward to adapt something...

I do think the Heel Cup is a different shape, not just unbranded. The Mid-Sole should be the same as the V2.

Here is some updates... I've been ripping of my entire HCs to make a fit test on this project as I seriously think about buying another pair of HCs to finish this...

Message for the Chinese (from the "V3" factory) : If I can get this look only from scratch, you have to do something better guys ! (even without autolaces)

you mean the grey one ? I'll do it after this one but no rush here.
I'm still running some tests on the grey model and I think I found a way to get them more of the "sock toe style" ... and maybe some Power Laces if I keep faith in my system (and find out something for the mecanism material)
About the Black model, I'm really prood of this result. Even if this is from scratch and without visual refernces I like this look. And when they're on the soles lightend up :$

I'll post a picture as soon as I make the joint between the two parts of each shoe and get the second end of the laces attached
Otherwise, I've figured out a non destructive way of putting the Tongue on the V2, and I think that I'll do them the same way on this project.
Need to think more about it and take some mesurements before trying this...
