Ehollywood, those pics look great.

They got large back in stock, so i just ordered one! I guess i'll be picking up a black series helmet to go with it.

Came in today and this is the first test fit right out of the box. I'm 5 ft 11" - 208 lbs and I got the large. I have to say that this is probably the best quality you could get for the price. It is very well made. Received it in 1 week, so it was shipped quickly. I was expecting to get some alterations done to mine too, but I'm not sure there is much that could be changed to make the fit any better. I will add a wire to the hood and probably do some work on the neck - cape piece. It think it needs more shredding on the ends and probably some stitching to keep the shape around the neck.

Now I need to run down that black series helmet!

Hi, new guy here. I got one for Halloween and was pleased with it for the most part. Curious if anyone else thought the hood was too small. I have the Target helmet (until I find the Black series voice changer) and couldn't manage to get it to sit all the way over. I finally applied some sticky tack just for the night. The Star Wars hoods from the movies (Jedi, Sith) always seem oversized but this one almost seems like a standard hoodie.
Or am I the only one?

Do you have a wire in it? I havent tried it with a full helmet on, but i put a wire in the hood today and it seemed large enough i could flare it out to my shoulders at the bottom.

......Also isnt that the helmet that they say is too big?

Ehollywood, so the the hood doesn't accommodate the Black Series helmet?

Have you guys seen the costume on Ebay by uniteddoremo? It doesn't look half bad either...

Wow, your modifications make this version really SHINE !!! I've been looking at the Xcoser version on ebay but this one looks waaaaaaay better now

I have been going back and forth on which one I prefer as well...I like the XCloser one because the under tunic is better, but the material looks super light weight otherwise. Plus, I thing the CB belt looks better.

Wecos2015 others both the CB material and the XCloser style tunic, but then the hood look ridiculously small. ><

On eBay, XCoser has what they call an "updated" version of their costume. I don't know anything about the general quality but in the photos, the outer tunic/hood/scarf material looks quite a lot like the proper basketweave material. In contrast to that, the Costumebase material looks a lot shinier and less correct from the photos and videos I have seen. Is it as shiny in reality? Also, as you say, the XCoser inner tunic seems more like the real thing, with pleats down the body as well.

So, does anyone have any experience with the XCoser costume, perhaps even the so-called "updated" version? Any idea of the general level of quality provided by XCoser compared to Costumebase (I have no experience with either)?

Also, for owners of the Costumebase costume, a question about sizing: I am a 40" chest but 6'3" tall. In terms of width, it sounds like I should go with a Medium, but I am reasonably sure that's going to be much too short on me (total length of tunics, and sleeve length of the inner tunic). I guess I could go for a Large or XL, but I fear I would have to take them in quite a lot to get a good fit. So, any comments on the length of the costume would be appreciated!
