It's the obvious choice. Kessel Run, or Starcave of Thonboka, or whatever wouldn't immediately clue in casual fans, and Han Solo at Star's End: A Star Wars story or something like that is unwieldy. Solo works.

They just released the story synopsis, too:

"Filled with lessons, love and laughter, SOLO is the story of a recently divorced spice runner moving on with his life and the friends he meets along the way."

It's a one-size-fits-all premise! Jokes aside, I'm pretty curious to see what they've made after all the production ups and downs.

Agreed. They served their purpose as a "let's do a funny one" comic. They have no business in a canon film, even as BG or cameos.
