I'm definitely going to try out using oil paints for weathering on my next helmet I'm starting on in the fall. Your work looks great. Really enjoyed the step by step of it all.

Thanks guys! Glad you like it. I haven't been able to do any work in the last couple of months as I am in the midst of moving house. Can't wait to get my fingers colourful again...

I used it on my helmet here is the result. helmet.jpg sadly I can't wear the full suit as 1 it takes 2 people to put on and 2 I just had reconstructive shoulder surgery. However I actually did it to my whole armor suit as well for better color match.
