I was thinking it looks a bit too much like the settler pistol in the game rage. (Which was also made in part by bethesda.) Immediately in seeing the gameplay it put me off. I also liked the 10 mil from Fallout 3. It fit. This one in a sense seems 'too practical.' Though the one in Rage is a revolver.

it does kind of look like that, although personally it reminded me a bit more of this gun from battlestar galactica

I want to know what this is, its like a mashup of a broken laser pistol and a lever action rifle of some sort. This is the far left part of the screen shot with the power armour in.
I believe it is mentioned in the Xbox Showcase, link to the video below.

They called it a Laser Musket. Crank and fire.

I just uploaded this last night on thingiverse. Here the link http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:905534

Its the 10mm pistol seen in the footage from the Bethesda conference. I created it from screen shots I had taken from the conference and the model is 3D printable and breaks down into a handle full of parts for easy assembly. The current model is basically a solid assembly but I'm currently working on making the receiver recoil and a usable trigger.

Hello everyone I thought you guys might want to see the Fallout 4 prop I just finished yesterday. The scattered automatic laser rifle made from eva foam, pvc, and some wood. I still need to complete the scope, but I'm going to wait until I go to tapplastics and get a piece of clear acrylic to use for the sights.Click image for larger version.

ID:	495619It has a working reload mechanism that you can see in video if you check out my instagram @babycakes_gabriel . You can see some of my other props ther as well. It's of course not 100% accurate atm because all I had to go off of was the 360 view from the BE3 showcase and even in HD it was a little blurry, but I think it's alright for now. I'll probably redo it after the game comes out.

I was fooling around in the shop and made a couple mini wooden Nuka Cola bottles, nothing too exciting just needed to do something fallout related until I decide on a bigger fallout related project to work on!

It is the game's 'signature' weapon. Watching it in action, the only thing I could think of was the "Futurama" episode, where Fry was in the Army. All those Soldiers running across the battlefield, winding-up their ray rifles to charge them up, as the rifles play Pop Goes The Weasel as the charge indicator. I wonder if the LASER Musket is going to play Pop Goes The Weasel too.

Im a bit bummed they had to change up the 10mm pistol. it has been almost the same for all the games.

I continue claw my way through the modeling. There are lot of subtle aspects of the new design that I'm struggling to sort out how to mimic.I think I've the right side rolling down pretty well now and main screen frame. Trying to figure out the soft box on the front now. Plugging along...

I've only uploaded the solid STL for the minute as I'm still modifying the assembly but I've made it so I can have interchangeable mods like scopes, grips etc. and the MF cell mechanism will work as well.

    Heres the link - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:914502

Tweaking and tweaking. Went backwards a little bit getting the overhang closer to correct at the holodisk door and the bracer on the backside. I need to redo the bezel and front plates rolls now. Bit by bit...

A few new renders of progress. Trying to fillet some of the complex corners is tough and causing errors. I keep going around in circles rebuilding and rebuilding the surfaces, curves and relationships. I'll probably ending up working some the edges by hand after printing. Still need the back hood sweep, eject button, front box metal Edge, Bezel Hood, fillet and join what I can and a couple more knobs. So, lots to still complete on the top. Haven't even started the bottom but have decent set of references from screen captures now.

I'm planning on making the Fallout 4 BoS armor and laser musket. I'm working on a couple comissions (and scrambling to finish all the work pre-DragonCon in 35 days! :gonk but really looking forward to jumping on this project after the con and once we get more reference photos.

My big question so far is we've seen the power armor in the workshop (plus I think there was a shot somewhere in the trailer? I would have to go back and check) - but have we gotten a glimpse of actual BoS, Enclave, or other faction (?) armor types? Or I'm wondering since it looks like Bethesda made everything in this game super modular and customizable, esp the weapons, that maybe they'll be doing the same for power armor?

Either way, worbla and foam on order. Looking forward this prop build in a couple months!

Greetings, programs! I am very interested in 3D printing and have been working on a bunch of stuff for my own collection and follow a lot of forums on the printing industry as well as props and such. I happened to stumble across this about an hour ago. Not to derail the fantastic work Zookone is doing on his 3d model, but there is this one.

    http://ytec3d.com/pip-boy-3000-mark-iv/

He amazingly enough offers the files for free under the Creative Commons license. Lights, opening cassette holder, and space for your phone are all included. Not sure you could print it for less than the $120 the "real" one is supposed to come out for, but if your adventurous enough, give it a go. Wish my skills were good enough to do something like this. Definitely some engineering going on here.

I toying with resin casting the new nuka-cola bottles but can't pin down the shape and size.

Are there any other pictures of the nuka-cola rocket bottles than these?

So next question, how tall are these things? Using a standard bottle cap as reference, it should be about 10 oz or 6 inches high. Based on the larger bar photo, they look closer to 9-10 inches but the bottle cap would need to be 1-3/4". Seems odd that they would use a non-standard bottle cap. Any help is appreciated.
