Definitive Harley Quinn suicide squad thread

I so love the way you did this! Did you just paint right over the top of the M with the blue paint or did you have to remove it?! I hope mine looks even half as good at this one <3

Finally finished the glove! I used Martha Stewart craft paint mixed with fabric medium from the same line. I glued fabric on the top velcro strap and inside the white lines before painting.

Colors:
Beetle Black (satin) for the velcro strap
Splash (pearl), Cornflower (pearl), and Indigo (satin) for the blue stripe.

Thank you! I did cut the "M" out... actually I pulled it off by hand and put fabric on top before painting.

I've got two new updates for my costume! I added the "J" letter charm to my jacket and sewed chain down the arms.

I had the charm gold-plated, since the same one from the film isn't available in gold... or at least I couldn't find one. The jacket is from Hot Topic, but I didn't like the "J" charm it came with.

Sewing the chain on took some time, but once I got a good rhythm it was pretty easy. The chain I used was aluminum, which is very light-weight.

Received my jacket yesterday! I really love it ^_^

P.s I just want to thank everyone for the support and answering all my questions it has made this cosplay so much easier! I wish we could all cosplay together <3

Also does anyone know what paint colour I could use for her Puddin collar? I have mine in white but in the movie it looks to be a champagne sort of colour...? Id like to paint mine because I don't like it plain white! Any help appreciated ^_^

Some people do it brown, some do gold. For my temporary low-budget choker, I used a gold glitter duck tape on yellow foam (with the exposed foam edge coloured with gold sharpie) it actually doesn't look too bad.

In the future, I want to get a fabric that's more brown, because that's how it looks to me in the photos of the DC Universe exhibit.

I'm on my phone so I can't upload pictures of my (currently unfinished) low-budget choker but I can share the links to my progress pics on instagram:

I'm gonna redo the letters obviously, I'm trying to find a good method to have nice sturdy letters with a smooth finish and have the back as well so they can slide on. The major issue is money and lack of proper materials and tools (I'm pretty sure this can be achieved with wood if done properly), but it's been fun making it out of stuff I already had at home. :)

I really wanted a pair of cuffs that looked more accurate to hers - most (if not all) of the replicas I've seen don't have the ridge that hers have. I know it's only a tiny detail but I love details!!

I've tried hand-making them myself but my in-real-life crafting skills are very limited, so I whipped up a model and been looking into getting them 3D printed. I have a local 3D printer whose doing some trials for me. I really like how the model looks so I'm hoping this turns out okay.

Oh my gosh! Would you be willing to please post or send me the file you made for this? My Dads work has a 3d printer, I would love to try these out!

Hey guys! First post! Woot!!

I wanted to share some info about Harley's ring and how I've been working with a 3D artist to build it. Most of you are probably familiar with the design...

I've sent my model to be printed today and I should have it by the 29th. I'm going to check the size before it's cast in metal and plated gold. The first version will be white plastic.

Here's a preview of the hyena side...

I was able to get hold of the jeweler in Canada who created the original and a few other pieces for the film. He confirmed it is a

I bought the Noble Collection bat. It looks great, really heavy, and the white tape even came distressed. My only qualms are that you can see a slight raise in the level where the words were attached to the bat (they are applied in a sheet like temporary tattoos, you see a square all around the entire design), my bat isn't coated on the handle beneath the tape (not under the tape, although I didn't care to check that, but rather the wood you can see at the base), and the words themselves have a strange look, like they have been blown up slightly in size. You can't tell any of this from any sort of distance. It is by far the best replica out there, especially for the price. The diamonds are not painted white, which is correct, unlike the Ikon bat. The stripes on either sides of the diamonds are also more correct on Noble. The words are in different spots slightly, especially at the bottom, if you compare the Noble with Ikon, and I am not sure which is more accurate without looking into it.

I am interested in those 3D printed cuffs too if that person ever comes back into the thread.

Can you post some pics of the Noble Bat please?

Don't worry, I'm always checking up on the thread! :)

The guy that was going to print the cuffs for me just moved house and I've not heard back since. I can't share the 3D file yet because there were things I had to amend (as advised by the 3D printer after testing) they were originally too thin, and he also advised making the spikes separate to reduce cost (a support material is needed if they're attached to the cuff) I don't know if there will be more things that need to be fixed. While I have experience with 3D modelling, I've never modelled anything to be 3D printed before.

I am experiencing financial issues at the moment, so I'm not able to find someone else to work with printing these because I won't be able to pay them. When things get better, I'll let you guys know of my progress.

Quick question folks, after watching the tested youtube video on efx, I'm unsure as to whether the mallet has a 36 inch shaft or shorter? Does anyone know the overall length of the mallet as it doesnt look that much shorter than the 33 inch bat?
