Absolutely. In fact, as soon as I posted I realised I had forgotten to mention the 1/48 TIE. With Bandai's attention to detail it would be immense.

I can't wait for someone to really nail the translucent bone look of Grievous' armor so I can shamelessly steal the technique.
Every time I look at pics of Grievous I wonder how you could replicate that look, but I have no clue.

If I had to take a stab, i would say that it would involve a glaze.
Probably-
Dont paint a base in the plastic.
Clear gloss coat airbrushed.
Mix darker contrast color with clear gloss to get a translucent effect and apply by hand with brush.
Another clear gloss coat airbrushed.

My wish list for Bandai is as follows (in order of importance/want):
B-wing 1:72 scale at a minimum
Imperial Probe Droid
Luke's Landspeeder
T16 Skyhopper
Sandcrawler
I don't feel like I'm asking much, but I am amazed that the first two on the list have not been released yet.

Medical Frigate 1:500 (as there is no model available but any 3d printed expensive stuff))
Correllian Corvette 1:250 (as there is no really good model available but the X-Wing Game ship which is nearly not available since years)
Imperial probe Droid (as it would be s.th. different to all the other Tie-Fighters /etc)
Tie-Fighter 1:43 (to have s.th. at the right scale to disaplay it with my Deago Falcon)
Sandcrawler 1:110 (as there is nothing compareable on the market)
Jabbas Sailbarge 1:75 (as there is nothing compareable on the market)
Last but not least Escape Pod 1:12 (to have the matching pod for my Bandai C3PO and R2D2)
