Bandai release schedule

Rebel spies operating deep inside the Shizuoka Hobby show, regret to inform us, nothing we don't already now about on display. There still appears to be one open spot, so there still is some hope.

Playing around with these three guys and having fun trying out some different poses.OK, some more gratuitous AT-AT pics, the tale of three AT-AT's. These bad boys are quite photogenic aren't they?
Lynn

Damn it Lynn, now I'm going to have to order a third one!

(and my tone was jovial for any wee sensitive souls out there, ahem)

Ah ****, I was kinda expecting that or more microscopic models. But we shall see if they surprise us with that empty spot.

Why people is so obssesed with 1/72 falcon? Is not the FM/revell already there... i think the amount of detail it has is really amazing.

Would love to see bandai to do NEW things...

The FineMolds kit is great but Bandai's 1/144 version shows they can capture the SHAPE perfectly--it's beefier and the FineMolds kit is a little too flat. But I'm not holding my breath for a 1/72 Bandai kit...

that's what i mean... maybe is not perfect, but is really good enough, and if you want to make it perfect you just need to put some extra work on it.

However, there are ships / scales that never have been made by these model companies, and after many years doing sw kits... i wish someone has the courage to do them, and not repeating the same models over and over and over again.... but maybe i come from other generation.

Yes I know what you are saying, but the FM kit is based on the stunt Falcon,...there really isn't a half decent sized representation of the 5 footer,....a 1/72 Bandai Falcon would definitely be a financial success for them

Unfortunatly, or not?

It is a business venture for the model companies and besides us nuts, who in the general public want a Radiant VII or other more obsure SW vehicle?

their main bread and butter will always be TIE's and X-wings! everything else is just gravy for us :)

i just think whoever wanted a Millenium Falcon or an X-wing, he already have it.. if he is a real SW fan :lol

we original SW lovers who grew up with the jedi religion in our veins, who watched our heroes to get older ( and dead :cry).. want more meat in our shelves

lol, you just have to accept that we are the "weird ones" my friend! Most "normal" people don't even know what a yt-1300, Slave 2, or a ghost is:facepalm

Although I am holding out hope for the probe droid as it got actuall fills the frame screen time with Han and Chewie AND announced the Empire's arrival!

All ships in studio scale, Nuff said :)

Now this is an idea. Why are Bandai's ships so small? Because space is scarce in Japan and the casual Japanese fan is living in a very small flat which does not provide enough space to display big models. Now let's see things from a different perspective: What about making a 1:1 Falcon model and turn it into a Japanese flat? Bandai, you can!!! :D ;)

I will selfish say I do NOT want Bandai to make a 1/72 Falcon because I spent hundreds of dollars and weeks of my time modifying the FM kit into something beefy and beautiful and it will KILL me to see all of youse getting an even better Falcon for a fraction of the price and effort. So there.

And now that I've said it, this is exactly what Bandai will do.
