Moving right along, can't wait for the next update. The way you show your progression is brilliant !
I just ordered over $150 of plastruct and I can't wait to make use of them in my builds. Quick question: Is it regular Bondo you're using to cover large seams and joints ?

I have been a model maker for many years, but I am new to this site. As I started my first browse of the forums, this thread caught my eye.
Sir, this is a brilliant model that you are building. Your prep work, attention to detail and modelling skills are just incredible. This is a stunning piece of work and I am torn between admiration and abject jealousy!

Thats what i've been at at......

Started to get Tom, Dick (AKA Nemo) and Harry up to the same stage as the master
Look, Harrys naked
Second phase on the master
Had to cut the top ring on the main engine body to accept the square thingy
Tubes for the main pipe and the bullet shaped thingy
Had to cut a relief in the the side of the main engine body to get the buttet into a good position
Assembled
Some details
Then it was Tom, Neno and Harry's details
And this is where i'm at right now
I'm happy with the direction
Better start thinking about the final light rig

I just found this build and I have to say your talents and skills are just amazing. I have been building models all my life and I know how much time and effort you have put into this. You are really a gifted builder. The fact that you can look at the pictures and visualize the core construct is remarkable. You have demonstrated a level of craftsmanship that few can achieve although all us aspire to do so. I will be looking forward to future additions to this model.

Added some more pipe work
Its for me
Chopper 2
Added the pipe work to all four assemblies
Made a master then started on the other three inner detail pieces
Finished
Re-made the large tubes, i wasn't happy with the cast ones, too many bubbles.
Added these thingies
Did a lot of filing and fitting to get them to fit, still at the dry fit stage

Look what i made for a little dio i'm making
Anyhooo,
