ok i have been watching this thread since the start and now i get my present BUT looks like your link to the 3d print file are not working or locked to only you
and due to the high poly count in the pdo it would be close to imposible to unfold in the app
if you could place a link to a obj file i can give it a try to drop the poly count I am trained in the z-brush program these files where created in and might be able to tweek a low poly out of the super high versioln we have (i would normally do this my self exporting from the pdo but it seems you have exported a locked pdo as well )
if the security on these files is on purpose sorry for the miss understanding

i hope my offer and advice have gone over well i would love to see a few of these helmets out there yours is sweet
Just checked on the 4 shared account. There shouldn't be any issues. What software are you trying to open the files with? Either way, I added a link to download the full obj head

Just a little spot filler here and there before final primer coat, sand, and paint :-)

Base coat of gold came out beautiful! Just need to let it fully cure before masking off and adding red

It's gotta be the angle and lighting that makes ya think that cause I only made one of these :-)

Wet sanded with 1500 grit sandpaper, used polishing compound and then used automotive wax to finish polishing. Now it's glossy and smooth as glass.

So, a friend of mine is practicing making helmet molds, he's got the supplies to play with. Anyhoo, in about a month, I may have a cast helmet or two to sell. I'm not taking any money or anything until I have the cast helmets in my possession. So keep an eye out in the coming weeks. I'll post then in the junkyard and have a link on this thread. Fyi there will not be a run of these, it'll be just the 1 or two I will get from my friend, and he will not be selling copies either.

Has anyone made any progress with a pep unfold? I've been playing with it but I have no idea what I'm doing, I seem to make it worse every time!

Unfortunately not at the moment. I'm working on two other projects at the same time as this.

And casting my Batman Beyond costume
    http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=197428

Not to mention I'm the costuming director for the Amazing Arizona Comic Con coming up next weekend.
I plan on tackling this armor more after I finish a couple of my other projects. This armor is bucket list costume for me actually. So I will get it done :-)
