I have just finished this replica of the Time distortion Tracer that the 6th Doctor uses in 'Mark of the Rani'. It is made from an old walkie talkie toy.

Do you have any build pics? I love to see how something ordinary is turned into a prop.

Sorry, I didn't photograph the build, it really didn't take long. I added the top section from a piece of tubing and plasticard. A plastic hemisphere went over the other end, then spray and stick a couple of switch lenses on it!

Thanks. This wasn't the exact one,it had a compass where the hemisphere goes, not the ridge pattern. I faked it with the lid off a film tub.
