Marvel's The Inhumans Movie Moving Forward with Script by Joe Robert Cole
Official announcement still pending. I am guessing it will take the 2017 release spot.

More classic Kirby-Lee creations coming to life ... I can't wait!

I really wish Marvel had FF back so they can be true to the comics.

And the Kirby estate's attorney just made another boat payment.

I would love to see Marvel do the War of Kings arc since it involves a lot of the parties we just saw in Guardians. They could change a few things around since it does involve certain characters that would fall under the X-Men and FF umbrella. Hopefully that doesn't include the Starjammers or the Shi'ar.

Can't help but feel this is another big F-U to Fox's X-Men franchise, courtesy of Marvel Studios. Everyone's saying the Inhumans could be the mutants of the MCU. Given the success of GotG, just seems natural they start exploring other lesser known franchises to bring to the silver screen.

Considering that Vin Diesel wants the role, he's had some practice with little to no dialogue.

Does repeating "I am Groot" several times over 2 hours count as dialogue?

I mean, Vin's best roles are the ones where he doesn't talk much - Iron Giant, Groot, and further down the list Riddick.

They should stick a GoPro on a bulldog and do a Lockjaw themed Marvel One-Shot.

If they want to do Lockjaw, CGI is not necessary.

Dogs aren't meant to get that big.

    That can't be healthy.

Rumor: THE INHUMANS Movie Is Canceled | Birth.Movies.Death.

devincf: INHUMANS being canceled and INFINITY WAR costing a billion dollars both sound like sour grapes rumors intended to hurt Marvel Studios.

devincf: I just can’t imagine a scenario where each INFINITY WAR movie costs half a billion dollars.

Yeah, given that the AoS producers have said multiple times that they're being "allowed" to set up the film, it wouldn't make sense that there's suddenly problems between TV and movies and that's why they're cancelling the film...

There is just no good reason why any film would cost more than 300 million to make.

Well, i could see it if everyone wanted RDJ paydays for each flick - 100M per actor, 6 actors = 600M, but they'd probably just shut it down at that point or move to other characters for it.

There is a lot more going on between the lines as the television, creative team and Disney / Marvel are having a blow up. There was a huge argument between the Marvel creative team and the television division, to the point they broke up over it. The reason Joss Whedon noted the TV series had nothing to do with the movie franchises. It has gotten so vitriol and heated that the Agents of Shield was suppose to lead up to the "Inhumans" movie but now there is talk behind the scenes of cancelling the movie due to the arguing. Looking like the studios are having major issues and the best of Disney Marvel may be behind if they cannot get their teams back working together.

There has been some flak between the groups for the last year at least. If you read the end of this article, you will get an idea of what is going on. Ike Perlmutter is currently running the television franchises.
