"Cthulhu" Themed Projects

Here's how the final painted pieces turned out. For the wall relief I decided on a patina bronze finish.

I decided to hand-set the eyes separately on the mini idol as I wasn't satisfied with how the eyes looked on the final castings.

Here's a short making-of video I did a while back of my mini Cthulhu Idol statue, showing brief glimpses of the sculpting, and painting of the final pieces.

The switchplate and the paintjob are both first rate. The texture really works with the sculpt and the paint.
