2001 Space Station WIP

073.JPG Well, this is the second landing bay being prepared...this one will have a partial back since a big metal rod will go through it.

Very strong indeed Monsieur Tox. Galvanized rod (50" long) to hold the station (already 22 pounds).

Just a quick add-on: the cones for the modules are being built as we speak...lots of work, as usual...slowly getting there;)

Well, that cone is built, painted (I'll wait before weathering it; I have a few details to affix: the ladders on the side of the bridge struts unit and the air units on the spokes)...but enough talkin', here are the pics.

Well, the "ladders" are on and the "air units" (64 of them) are on the spokes. The only thing to do is to build the conical ends of the spokes (those parts plugged in the outer rim) and I'll consider the first half of the station done ( the plug containing the landing bay, the module, the cone, 4 spokes and all the greeblies).
