Cause it's not that difficult a model to figure out.

If the dims are accurate, it will be a great base for superdetailing.
I think it would be easier to start from scratch than trying to modify that thing and would cost way less money (Im speaking about getting a "great base", getting all the kits to detail it is something else ).

Looks good, maybe not 100% accurate... but good enough

I'm intrigued, but also wary of what this will actually look like once done... a repaint will be inevitable, but if the overall accuracy is there... too bad we don't get to see much at this point

Where is the obligatory video of this?
All partworks usually come with a video showing off the final product. It sounds likes its going to be good, but until I see a video I won't be convinced about the accuracy.

So is this a book that just tells you how to build this model after you have already purchased it? How do you get the actual model?

Or is this a book telling you how to scratch build one? I'm confused.

    It's a partwork.
Each magazine has a few parts attached to it.
If you buy every issue you have all the parts and the instructions

    Here's an earlier set featuring 007's DB5

I inquired no US subscriptions... Anyone in UK want to front for me? If nothing else it builds the greeblie box. and it might be a lot of fun... I actually like the magazine and such with some of these that I've seen in the past.

Wouldn't be the worst piece to buy for the base, core model, metal sub-structure, interior, lighting, engineering and then redetail/repaint the exterior...

Yeah, these guys are a problem. I've just started collecting their D51 steam loco in 1/24. The whole thing is brass and die-cast. Gah, they have some irresistible stuff.

Comparison between Deagostini and MR Falcon part section. A good approach but no comparison to MR Falcon or the real deal I think.

Well comparing one to the other is howdy doody if you ask me.
To expect a 100% accurate model is just not going to happen.
Not even MR achieved that but did an outstanding job with what they did.
Even now more parts are being found that had not been found even for the MR.

But what is on offer is pretty substantial to those that are not completely anal about details & those that are can always do what is generally done.
    Accurize & repaint.
The offering has its good & bad points straight off the bat but we have to remember they say the model has full interior with engine compartments & the rest.
    Quite interesting.

Still on the fence with this one but may be something to collect at any cost.
    These things become very collectible.

No need to shell out that much cash, I guess. There are a couple of em out there And IIRC they are reissues of japanese kits.

The Deagostini Falcon is a better toy, but he certainly makes big impression when he is in front of one. And with a proper paint job, he will certainly look very good, but just not in detail. The MR Falcon is just another league even if it is only accurate to 95% Click image for larger version.

Got the hasbro look details to my eye,but knowing the scale and full interior with engine compartments design, this is very worth to collect.
